KCACTF Region VIII offers Festival XLI participants a wonderful opportunity to take the next step in their educational or professional goals with this chance to be seen and heard by major universities and theatre companies. There is no additional fee for participants. All Festival registrants are eligible to participate. Please Fill out the
NEXT STEP STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM, get it signed and send it back ASAP.
AUDITION SLOTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!!!
ACTORS/SINGERS
The acting and singing auditions will take place all day Friday, February 13th. To help facilitate the audition process the you will be given ninety seconds to perform your monologue and part of a song if you care to. A CD player will be provided, and an accompanist will also be will be available. Hours will be assigned as soon as we receive your registration form. You will need to bring forty copies of a headshot and resume. Callbacks will be held Saturday, February 14 between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Callback lists will be posted up on a bulletin board assigned for the purpose.
DANCERS
Dance auditions will be held Saturday, February 14 at 1pm. A choreographer will be assigned to teach a routine in an open dance call. A warm-up will be held at noon.
DESIGNERS / TECHNICIANS
Design / Technical interviews will be on Saturday, February 14th from 9am-2pm. Technical production, stage management and theatre management/publicity/front of house candidates have 5 minutes in which to make a presentation. A table and power will be provided. Please note any other special needs when you return your registration form and we will try to accommodate. Hours will be assigned as soon as we receive your registration.

Following the auditions and interviews, you may be asked to meet with individual companies.
